Where Have We Gone?

It’s been three years since I last posted on here. We lived on the other side of the country, and we had no idea we would ever be back on the East Coast, or have a third child… another boy, or that I’d become an entrepreneur. But all of those things happened, since I last wrote to you all here.

Wild times, indeed. But we moved back from Washington State, to North Carolina, exclusively to be back near family. And it’s been a good move, albeit a hard one. The years we spent in the Tacoma, WA area were wonderful and we miss that place all of the time. However, living by the beach of the Atlantic Ocean certainly has it’s charms…

Wilmington, North Carolina is not a bad place to live at all!

Building a Business on Brand

If you’ve followed along for the years this site has been up, you know I’ve moved from ministry to the hospitality industry over the last decade. Well, that changed too. I left Chick-fil-A back in 2016, & our family took off to the West Coast.

While there, I got the good fortune of stumbling into non-profit work, then marketing. And fairly quickly thereafter, from learning the marketing industry at a 30,000 ft view, to becoming a fairly successful strategist. And over the next two years of grassroots marketing, I got to watch a brand develop while coaching other brands on their own developments. It was a great season of learning an industry and affirming what I believe about it.

And then, here in North Carolina, I got a wild hare, so to speak. And Spark Business Strategies was born.

Spark Business Strategies is a Branding and Marketing firm based out of Wilming

Because Branding is My Business

The work at Spark has been incredible thus far. For right at two years, we have been able to serve a wide range of clientele, serving businesses in the trades, medical industry, and retail, while helping build franchises through branding in sports marketing.

I won’t go on and on about the company, but that’s where I’ve gone, and that’s where I’m working. Writing. Serving. And helping businesses build their brands and serve their customers.

I’d love to see you over there!
Brad
